Archer Thralls on walls Unequipping bows and not shooting

Archer thralls are not shooting at targets. They seem to work for one round of agro (though not always), but then they unequip their bows and won’t attack again until you put the bow back in their equipped slot. Even then they sometimes (often) won’t attack even when something is in range.

Useless Archers thralls

True, had also some cimmerian fighters killed by dragons. They can defend properly, and mostly just stand starring at the beast. My cimmerians acted well with other npc, but great creatures such mammoths and dragons are indeed a big problem for them.

They will again get bows as soon as they need to shoot. If they do not, then the target is outside the fire zone, for example, behind the wall. The game engine calculates the shot line with serious errors.
