Are 5GB of RAM enough for a server of 2 people?

I want to rent a server with the lowest slot number possible because we’re only gonna be 2 players. The best I could find is an 8-slot server with 5gb of RAM allocated. Will that amount of RAM be enough for the 2 of us on a vanilla experience?

Server used for a single player with such lightweight mods it may as well be vanilla still uses around 5-6gb.

I have a lot of free memory so maybe the game would survive with less since I’m on Windows (aka memory reserved is not the same as memory needed), but I think you’ll be a little short and the experience will suffer at times. 8Gb is probably the minimum amount I’d recommended.
