Authentication failed while joining a server

Bug Description:

Was trying to log in on a server where I play all the time. Got a authentication failure error while trying to join, restarted pc same thing. Read forums to try to reinstall… The reinstall took all night. After I was able to join to find all my stuff gone…
I’m pissed to say the least.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Step 1: Launch the game
  2. Step 2: Press continue in the launcher
  3. Step 3: Get error
  4. Step 4: Reinstall
  5. Step 5: FML
