This bug has been posted about this bug going back a couple years in the past but we haven’t seen a fix. Under the admin panel, both the Banned Players and the Whitelisted Players stay blank unless the player logs into the server. This makes updating these lists difficult as admins especially for the ban list. Ours is not just a permanent list. There may be times which we just need it for a cooling off period so that players can take a short time away and not escalate drama on the server. It would be handy to have a way to put a time limit on a ban versus permanent status. Having a whole blank list though it’s hard to reinstate players while maintaining a list of banned toxic ones. Let me add that while we can still clear the whole list of banned players, that’s not something we want to do. Some bans may need to be permanent in the future and having the option of reviewing status, speaking to the community and individuals is how we handle the server. Having toxic players being able to suddenly hop back in isn’t something we want. I’ve gone through the keyboard ~ commands and it doesn’t seem to show a way to manually remove players from the ban list under that method. There are commands for the whitelist.
Please update the admin dashboard with more functionality on console side for rented servers. Thank you!
Steps on how to reproduce issue:
- Enter password for admin privileges
- Ban and/or whitelist more than two players
- Have a few of these players log off of the server
- Bottom side by side lists now do not highlight names of banned or whitelisted players. Lists are blank.
