Ever since last hotfix, ive been getting battleye bad service version, when i try to login, it takes sometimes 3-4 times to get on, sometimes i also get booted from the game, ontop of that i have to “sleep” on a foundation, else i will fall to the floor underneath, with the sound of me falling down breaking my legs, would love if this could be looked into.
Yeah it is kinda the same thing for me, it loads in a little you see flying dancers, next time you try, you see a bit more ect ect, and randomly you get in, i will say tho it is not your pc, because mine is fairly decent and it happens every time i try to load in after latest hotfix.
Ever since this last update, this too has happened to me, battleye bad service version, turns to a white screen upon load and only see some thralls while nothing renders in before it kicks me. Sometimes two or three times.
Same here. unplayable.
I was able to fix my issue. Here is how I did it.
From the Funcom launcher, right side (gear)More… under the launch/continue button.
Clickt which brings up the Battleeye options
I tried multiple times to uninstall but it would fail. (no screenshot)
- I then Disabled battleye.
- Uninstalled BattleEye.
- Installed BattleEye.
When I launched the game again, it gave me the warning that BattleEye is collecting data (blah blah), and I selected next/continue/proceed/whateverbutton.
Then the familiar BattleEye launcher came up when I tried to join the game. And I was in on the first go-around.
Hope this helps.
Nobody cares about the spelling. Everyone knows what is meant by it. The information is what is needed by people.
what a pab
This was starting to get bad for me so I looked into getting it fixed. I ended up re-installing battleye as well and settling an exception for it in the Windows firewall.
So far it’s only happened once since then which I believe was due to my connection being crappy at the time due to bad weather.
Not that it’s related to battleye, though I think a poor connection can trigger battleye, but one other thing that really helped my connection overall, said connection being a tethered Android phone, was resetting all network connections on the phone. For whatever reason things had degraded over time and that fixed it up.
Hmm? Some toes were stepped on.
I’d be guessing on the tools needed to nicely put them back on the shelf (or let them exist through third-party workflows). This progress is neat.
I’m suggesting attention to those places, and to (re)start with “placeholders”. It is a subtle change for a few purposes. That can be formalized. Just need to allocate that memory space with modern constraints (built in).
Still getting random crashes and battleye problems loading in the game, uninstalling and installing it daily, is there any chance the team could look at this? Yesterday on the server we are on, two others have the same issues, and this is just the people i talked with ingame, it also does not like MSI afterburner at all (i have disabled this, for when i play this game, any other game i can use it without any issues, well besides Dune Awakening) I get that Battleye doesent like other programs that looks at memory like this, but there must be a way to fix this on their end.
It seems for now that complete reinstallation fixed it, for anyone that might have the same issue.
