Bug Description:

Beast of Burden bugs:

  1. Prevents player from crafting some items from benches (i.e. Thaumaturgy bench)
  2. Produces a constant Overburdened prompt

Bug Reproduction:

Bug 1. Have a character with 20 Expertise and Beast of Burden interact with Thaumaturgy and Golem Benches
Bug 2. Have a character with 20 Expertise and Beast of Burden reach overburdened status and run around the map picking up items

The sorcery one is not a bug. You cannot use the bench while encumbered. They put that in several chapters ago.

You have always gotten the encumbered message because you are. The buff allows you to move with little penalty but you are still encumbered.
