the black ice swords are the same sword with different stats, they are both 1 hand swords

Both swords are intentionally one handed weapons, the Broadsword does more damage but also has a slightly higher stamina cost per attack.
The distance between performance of Broadsword and Predatory blade is still huge, because Predatory blade in empiric test deals with a full light combo 125% of the damage the Broadsword deals with a full heavy combo.

this is the hardest weapon to craft requiring to be crafted in the Ymir forge and not at your home, it should be the best of craftable 1h sword
Never saw any 2-hander as outcome there. Sure, a greatsword would make sens, but still had just one hander as long i play. You just have the choice.
