the main reason I don’t like this design so much is that it puts people on the backfoot in a worse position, it’s a “poor get poorer” kind of scenario. this may not be a completely accurate assessment, but i think most (hardcore) people would agree, a way to skillfully recover would be necessary. maybe that way already exists, maybe it doesn’t.
i’ve been reading through and appreciating the conversation/feedback about this. in case anyone is worried i disappeared, i just lurk.
