Bug which makes you loose your armor

Game mode: On line private or public does not matter
Type of issue: Loose chest piece armor bug
Server type: Any
Region: Any

If putting Warpaint in slot 5 on the hot bar and then pressing 5 and then again 5, the Chest piece armor gets permanently lost. (This does not happen with for example slot 3 and 4 in the hotbar)

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Put war paint in slot 5 in the hot bar (We tested with for example Darfari Cannibals (53522)
  2. Make sure you have chest piece armor on
  3. Press 5 (to apply the warpaint)
  4. Press 5 again (to take it off)

Your armor is now permanently lost.

If you do same on slot 4 in the hot bar then everything is fine.

Tested this on live server and also in Dev kit.

Bug is not limited to the Warpaint mentioned above we tested on many, Slot 5 in the hotbar always makes you loose the armor.

we might have to extend the bug…let me test:

slot 4 kills head armor

slot 6 kills bracers

slot 7 kills pants

and slot 8 finally the shoes

so…4 - 8 all have that bug, for a different armor piece

Well, thankfully using warpaint isn’t necessary through the hotbar, just press use while on it in regular inventory. This is good to know though.

Yeah, confirming 7 and losing pants. Tested to be systematic, destroyed 4 pants while trying to test if the reappear after relogging etc. (no, they did not). I didn’t try other bar slots though.
