Would be nice to resume the decay timers since the servers are now back online. My server has had quite a few new and returning players who are looking for base spots. It would be much easier for them if we can decay the inactive player structures.
Decay will probably be re-enabled once the server transfer issue is fixed and re-enabled.
in the meantime the returning player can may be learn to do gods and bombs
because command you are on a pvp server…
did they only fix it for pc? because transfers and decay timer were disabeld for Playstation too
or just remove the landclaim yourself. bombs are pretty much free with a zath knife and sorcery now
1700 dragon powder per day in 3 hours online, and 3h offline crafting,
The server is recovering from hacker wipe. I’m quite busy rebuilding and relearning my recipes. But if it comes down to it then bombs will be the next step.
To be honest, I’m not keeping up with what’s happening on console. I specified PC official because our servers were ddos’d and offline for several days. My understanding that was part of the reason for the decay timers being paused.
Server transfer was re-enabled today. Decay timer is still paused. Just an FYI.
Hmmm, might need to let Dana know or they did and it hasn’t taken effect yet?
It doesn’t say anything about it in the patch notes today. @Dana do you know if there are plans to turn decay timers back on?
I suspect it’s because the only way to salvage Siptah characters on the Steam platform is transfer. Due to the Cinco de Mayo deadline for Steam, they likely reinstated transfers for Steam only in order to allow people to transfer said characters to a random EL server so they can transfer back to the new linked Siptah server after the update. I believe the bug hasn’t been resolved just yet, so there are still people that are having issues with logging in or crashing on other platforms. I’d probably reckon that Steam may have the same issue still, so might wanna be careful.
Best bet is to test the min first. Go to. new siptah server, create a acharacter. open sorcery and maybe level to 10. Transfer and get ised to the process. Maybe even grab a few low lev thralls to test it. Donit a few times to make sure you understand it. Then do you main character.
Perhaps, but if it kills someone else’s server in the process, you just screwed them. ![]()
Also there’s a problem @lanier67 has run into - apparently it’s one transfer per 24 hours per account (not per character). Hopefully that’s just an error somewhere in how it’s been implemented. But whatever the cause, it’ll make practice runs a bit more difficult.
This is honestly the most annoying factor, primarily with PvE servers. I’ve mentioned this in the past and honestly think it should be lessened to 8-10 hrs maybe. I understand abuses and potential stress on the server, but I think the main issue was to prevent abuse by PvP players dodging conflict and stuff.
Are you excited to raid some degraded bases?"
I myself can work with that, as I got only 2 transfers left to do, but I know a lot of people with more characters, who won’t get their transfers done before the update.
I get the per character cooldown, but not the account restriction
Just for clarity -
‘get’ as in receive, or ‘get’ as in understand?
