I’m playing the game on pc right now and when I’m in a server and playing I cannot (windows 10) tab out of the game to another window (like discord) and then tab back in. The game locks up and I basically have to restart and sit through another 10 minutes of whatever is forcing the game to take so long to load.
Is anyone else having this problem? Is there something that I just need to configure properly on my end? It’s really frustrating.

I’ve ran into this problem a few times until I managed to purchase my second monitor. But without buying a second monitor there may be a few solutions to your problem. The one thing I do recommend is to try and minimize the amount of background apps you’re using at the time as this may be a big issue. Hope this helps.
Windowing~
If you’re running the game through Steam then I’d recommend trying to click on the F11 Button. Doing that should make your game go from a full screen to a windows screen with an option to minimize the page.
Alt+tab
The second way would be to simply trying Alt+tab but from your problems seems to be crashing your game so this would not be recommended for your case.
I have two monitors and the problem seems to occur when I tab over to the applications that are open in the 2nd.
If you have two Monitors, then you should just be able to have discord on one and Conan on the other and simply hit “Esc” when in game and just drag your mouse off the screen and over to whatever you’re wanting to look at. At no point should you have to even hit tab, I dont know if it’s different for other computers but that’s how I usually avoid tabing out.
I’ll try hitting escape first. I bet that’ll work.
If that doesn’t work – Enable Steam overlay. Shift+Tab and you can unlink the mouse from that monitor. It should not minimize the game.
Full screen and the windows key takes us right to the desk top.
