Hi, recently playing on a private server, after the last update I can’t connect to the server, usually I was able to connect via direct connet, IP and password, can someone help me? thanks.

Do you direct connect via the in-game server list or steam? What port are you using?
I connect from game, but I don’t choose any of the servers in the list, I click on direct connect and I type ip and password of the server.
you need to type the port too normally. IP:Game Port (not Query)
I’ve had no problems playing on private servers either from the server list or via direct connect. What error message are you getting?
Time out! could not find server.
maybe I can’t connect because the server hasn’t been updated?
You are not able to play on a server without you both running the same version of the game.
What version are you running and what version is the server running?

I have a handful of players on my server who suffer from the same connection roulette.
Some mananged to log in after 2 HOURS! of log in attempt… purely by…luck
others don’t manage it at all for the day.
this is getting very frustrating.
They verified even their games, deleted all mods, checked the game again for errors, redownloaded mods, even went so far as to check for their routers if there was any issues, the firewalls were checked too to allow conan’s access through it.
Same roulette remains.
They all have the same error message “MaxAllowedPing for this Server is too high. Connection failed”
we finally found the problem! have updated the server so now I can connect, thanks for everything for the advice and help.
