Cant connect to servers after system update

Since downloading the PS4 system update yesterday, Jul 16, I can’t connect to the server I’ve been playing. Server list populates, server is listed and starts connecting, loading screen freezes and eventually says could not connect. Have restarted the ps4. This happened after the server froze up while I was playing, leaving character and thrall away from base.
Tried some other servers, some seem to work, some will not connect. My primary server was PVE, Working class x5.

Is your console connected through wired or wireless?

Does it occur in official servers as well?

Have you tried to reinstall the game?

additionally to what hugo said/asked, have you tried other online games on your ps4 to see whether it might be a ps4 related issue or a conflict between the update and the game client?
