Cant launch the game

Since you cannot even start the game:

• does your computer meet the minimum (recommended) specs?
  Common Technical Issues and solutions. (READ FIRST)

• are all your drivers updated?

• did you try “verify integrity of the game files” in Steam?

I will not pretend I understand the whole problem, but paths in your error prompt would suggest that something is wrong with game trying to use DirectX.

@Larthanon If you google the last error, you will see that quite some topics pop up. Most of them are for Dead by Daylight but oddly enough they go all the way back to 2017-2018.

Some of the solutions suggest limiting your fps to 60 or 120, switching to windowed fullscreen, making sure your drivers both GPU and DirectX are up-to-date, etc. Not quite sure why you are having this problem and me not but yeah maybe some of the google results can help you solve your issue.

Another one solved it by disabling their onboard gpu:

Disabled the onboard graphics in device manager, game running and all is well.Thanks for the help guys.
