Capturing thrall issue

Game mode: Online official

Capturing a Cimmerian Beserker in the mounds area is kind of impossible. Like before the bug the guy could cut me in half unless I roll away to have him follow me and then beat him with a trugeon. With the update it’s like npcs freak out suddenly when they’re outside their normal area. I rolled back to the area in the center of the mounds where the npc is in the water near the campfire but the Beserker with suddenly stop pursueing you and run. If you chase him he literally runs into the cliff and teleports. Resetting the progress you made to beat him over the head.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
1.go to mounds area to find cimmerian Beserker.
2. Try to capture by luring him through hits and rolls.
3. Beserker stops pursueing and runs into cliff and teleports to position resetting capture progress. I am left bloodied from the strikes he got on me.

I wouldn’t say that this behavior is Rubberbanding, also not a bug. The AI let Thralls return to there position if they are to far away from their starting point. This is a common technique in many mmo’s or mmorpg’s. But in CE they do return via porting instead of moving. A fight doesn’t seem to stop this behavior.

Yeah, this bug is in general. Not the beserker itself.

Have the same problem, but not constant.
I had this yesterday fighting a bos, when this happens the HP is going up real quick.

Indeed, rubbberbanding or not it breaks the enviromen.
I understand why this is, but I think the area is to small for the NPC.

throw a trunch on a random fighter thrall and have it take the agro from the zerker first, then you and your thrall can knock it out fast and easy

It looks like the zerk returned to his spawn area. Perhaps a little confusion happened about the exact spawn point, so I´m posting a pic just in case it helps to clarify…
