So I did not know this. If you put a Taskmaster on torturer’s table, he will give you access to Chain Bindings, which allows you to drag thrall from one end of the map to another without breaking! WHAT!?!?
From the last time I seen the bindings, I think it is good for an hour of dragging.
And the taskmaster thrall will even repair it via the workbench.
If memory serves me correctly, they can also be repaired using Legendary Repair Kits, which become fairly plentiful once we start frequenting the Unnamed City.
They can indeed. ![]()
Just to anyone new it must be a level 3 Taskmaster to get the recipe to show up in the menu.
They aren’t worth repairing. Repairing them costs the same as crafting. Just toss them into the dismantling bench when they get worn out and make a new one.
I have almost 200 legendary weapon repair kits in storage and I still wouldn’t waste one on chain bindings.
Yeah Im also overstocked, and now at the point where Im discarding excess Repair Repair Kits.
If you have 200 Legendary Weapon Repair Kits, then surely you are better off using one of them, than spending 3 Steel Bars to create a new one?
I am at a point where i repair everything with leg kits, even down to my torch.
No, because I also have 6000 steel bars.
I remember the day I accidentally “discovered” this too. I finally got Saddur, and moved my TM3 to the torturer’s worktable. Chain bindings = thralling love.
Yes, sure thralls can be moved.
What i do often i must say. Also carpenters, why in smaller bases have to many if you can move them around if needed.
I need mostly my taskmaster at the wheels, only some moment at the torturer bench where i can craft several truncheon and bindings at once.
But they have mostly hard to do at the wheels. They don’t get gruel for doing nothing.
I remember discovering that too. I was placing a thrall in my BD-ahm castle dungeon and the recipe showed up after placing my thrall. Good times.
