Challenge! How many tier 4 crafters i can gather in a week in Siptah island only from camps

What an eventful day you have had
Yeah the lag on most official servers we could definitely do without, but it what it is :smirk:
Yeah if all other professions were as generous as Sorceres, we would have no problem getting the ones we want in a very short time, but like you said, I myself do not count a named sorcerer for anything, heck there’s literally no difference between a T1 and T4, you just need one
However… Damn you have some luck with T4 crafters, I don’t think I have ever gotten that many in a day from camps on Siptah, then again I rarely spend much time just going for named thralls, I usually just check camps while I am around them, but still it is impressive :star_struck:
As for accursed, yes the named ones I prefer over a berserker any day, simply for their much better hp and the fact that there isn’t much difference in their damage
Congrats on finding Szeth’s thruncheon, I do have a couple of ?'s…

Do you ever use the knockout orbs from the Journey rewards?
I do, especially in camps where I can get up on a ledge and throw them down on a group of npc’s, works great in many camps on Siptah

Also do you ever use knockout arrows?
They can be great to quickly disable archers on high platforms

Anyways, thank you for an entertaining day 2 of your challenge, you may die a lot, but we often have the most excitement when we take chances and sometimes end up in the shit house :joy:

It’s something you push a lot when you do a challenge. Grinding challenges has only one way, grind! But it’s something i have never pushed so hard in Siptah. In exile lands i did, several times for pvp reasons. So i had my spots and of course purges. My clan use to build on highlands or frost areas. They were building so big and grind npc camps so much that every second day we had purge. Hopefully in purges i was mostly alone and i enjoy them more than 100 players . Every two weeks they were changing server because of the boredom to have everything and no threat so i had the time of my life. When we were building in jungle it was constantly apes or snakes .
So i grind exiles lands for literally everything.
But Siptah? Is yet to come.
It has so many hidden secrets for me still and i haven’t joined pvp in Siptah to feel pressed.
So this challenge is extra knowledge for me too, worry not. Thanks a million @Frillen :metal:.
@LostBrythunian please send photo of the location you find the armorer, i always look for her to the Accursed npc boss in the beach where rock noses and lizards fight each other. Is this the one?

Edit.
As expected today our “fishing” was not so good, yet this is it :slightly_smiling_face:.
I took my first named taskmaster

I went north east for awhile and the only good thing i managed was a dancer that i constantly kill in exile lands, i believe you understand why :rofl::rofl:.

Today i focused in 4 stygian camps to see if it worth it to focus just in them. Apparently not! If you really want to have fruits in this part you have to visit lot’s of camps. There’s not a Sinner’s refuge or a Sepermeru in Siptah. Siptah is like the mount of dead, you have to shed blood to gain crafters from camps. So tomorrow i’ll return to my usual pattern.

Depends on if you just want many T4’s or a variety of useful ones. New Khemi Docks (the camp right next to my main base, so the one I visit the most often) seem to be a very good source of T4 Taskmasters and Sorcerers, but I very rarely see any other T4’s there.

Day 5!
Today i may have crossed all the named sorcerers this game has.
They were everywhere almost in all the camps i visited :man_facepalming:.
Then again day 5 and no cook? Really? So i head for a safe bet for named crafters, pirate camps! Other than that i played a bit more relaxing in the beginning, ok challenge but there are other beautiful things to do in this game. So i lost some time and the only way to recover this time and get a damn cook is pirate camps.
Well the game trolled me a bit in the beginning…

And of course someone always have to build big next to this camp to make your life easy…

But it was a good day and i took my cook too .

So day 5 closed with 5 named crafters. So far pirate camps seem to be the best bet. Let’s see tomorrow!

This one will when they can.
The camp is unmarked on the map and is in I-5
There are elephants nearby.

Day 6!
One day before the wild hunt ends and purge was on the way too. I have nothing but a sandstone cabin so a Siptah purge could be very punishing!
Hopefully and surprisingly, it was a lacerta purge. It’s unbelievable i always had only Accursed purges, it’s my very first time i ever had a different purge in Siptah… Finally :pray:t6:.

It was a bit frenzy, they were coming in decades but it was really ok, well done devs fantastic work :+1:t6:.
@LostBrythunian if you mean the camp where the boss spawns i never ever been so lucky to witness a single named there, but it’s luck, or you have it or not. Thanks a million for sharing :metal:.

Isn’t this weird?
My very first blacksmith that you see on day 3 was exactly for this camp. That was exactly the reason i spend my whole day 4 grinding almost all the stygian camps that’s in this line!
When i was playing on Wyrms bane i had a small starting cabin in the beach in front. I had some named crafters from this camp. How does rng works, i still cannot understand :man_facepalming:. Of course day 4 was my worst.

No, never. I don’t even know in which server i collected them but definitely never used a single item from battle pass.

I use to equip archers in purges with these arrows. I believe after riders of Hyboria it started crashing with this method and never used them again .
I use to love lovetap. But from times to times it’s bugging on PlayStation and kill named ones :man_facepalming:, so i use the traditional brutal way i love so much .
I lost a lot of time today but hopefully my rng was very generous…

Day 6 crafters 7.
I am missing a smelter and a good armorer, let’s hope tomorrow i will manage to get these fellows, it would be awesome to finish the challenge this way. Wish me luck :metal:.

It’s not where the boss spawns, it’s just a bit north of that one.
This one should be able to get an image int he next day.

Day 7!
Saturday it’s always a day i can play extented at night because on Sunday i mostly have day off. But i always start late because it’s shopping day also.
The story of a family man :man_shrugging:!
It started good and promising, today i wanted to focus not on making numbers of crafters, but to find specifics. What i was really missing from my collection was a smelter for first, i had none. But i wanted to find the armorer we are all looking for to make the best possible numbers in game.
I went to all the possible locations around the map, i almost broke a Glimmer moon on killing npcs, but nothing.
Tbh, i was expecting this. Every time if i find the armorer easy i will have issues on blacksmith, or the opposite.
Then again i will never ever understand how these slot machines work. @LostBrythunian send me directions on psn where he farmed 6 armorers, yet for me it was none. But it is a spot i didn’t knew that this armorer spawns and this information for me it’s priseless, especially in a game that knowledge is the most powerful weapon.
This was not the first thing @LostBrythunian teach me in Siptah. When i joined his server Wak’s nation i had the privilege to play with him a couple of times. So i took the liberty of asking him what’s an elder of maelstrom. In my late game sessions of Siptah, i was lvling my thralls to the tower because if the frenzy spawns and because i was expecting to see a different figure of a monster called elder :rofl::rofl:. But the only thing that was coming in there was the usual minis of maelstrom and one or three skull insects. So i was always with the question what’s an elder and what i do wrong to haven’t witness one so far?
Well he solved the mystery fo me. He knew an exact spawn of elder so i went really exited, i was about to meet an elder.
When we reached the spot i saw a 3 skull liogor that of course i fight it in the past. Super easy dragons with green moves and red breath. So that was it. The elders was 3 skull bosses in maelstrom . I really wish it was something different, something stronger, something to make you run like a girl when you witness them . Yet knowing finally what an elder is, it’s a priseless gift. Thanks a million @LostBrythunian :metal:.
I could use wiki for knowledge, i feed great respect for the fellow gamers that spend endless time in there editing these pages. But it didn’t start for me this way, i went online to share and gain with other people. Is this the correct way, probably not, because sometimes you share and gain gaming “superstitious”.
But it’s my way and so far it works excellent because you have the privilege to meet new people.
Enough with my off topic delirium, let’s go back.
For the last day of this challenge i dressed Bella and Frillen in style and off for our
last gathering effort…

Be back in a couple hours max with the epilog of this wonderful gaming week!

Epilog!
Thanks once again @Frillen for this fantastic gaming week.

So!

How many tier 4 crafters i finally managed to gain in Siptah starting from scratch in a week?
25

4 alchemists
3 blacksmiths
2 armorers
3 carpenters
7 taskmasters
3 tanners
2 cooks
1 smelter
This is the map with extra symbols from me showing the camps i grind for these crafters.
I had to fix this one on single player to be the cleanest possible from other symbols.

I gave some visits, 3 or 4, in Ashen core, because normally my first armorer these years was mostly from this camp and i fixed an outpost northeast to the exile camp but never visit it after. As the matter of fact, speaking for this i don’t know if the taskmaster i have up there in the wheel is named or master . But so be it!
This is how the crafters are split through camps

Pirate camps seems to be the best point of interest when it comes to crafter farming and stygian the worst.
But…
My last walk out of contest today just to do it for the last time…

Of course this blacksmith is out of contest and as you see in the first photo he is on my inventory not in the chest and in no other chest after.
Now, this challenge has nothing to do with regular gaming, as every challenge is painful, official servers make this pain devastating and for no other reason than pvp gaming i would do something like it in my pve server, it’s pointless to play this way regularly. Imagine that on 3047 i started a new character the last month I don’t have all the named crafters and i don’t even care. Eventually they 'll come :man_shrugging:. So for gods sake no, if i was playing regularly in Siptah i wouldn’t probably have 25 crafters in a week from scratch!
But it was a good lesson, not for you but for me. I learned a lot this week and i am grateful to all of you who left your hints in here.

From now on i will definitely grind more the spot @LostBrythunian said.
When i look for blacksmith i will definitely grind Nook and new khemi docks.
When i look for alchemist i will definitely grind Lunatics reach, for gods sake 2 named alchemists in max 10 visits, so yes it’s a definitely good spot for alchemist, it reminds me of the volcano and Sayd.

So, 25 crafters in a week only from camps in Siptah and to be precise, only from some of the south camps of Siptah. I didn’t grind them all i didn’t find them all this week. Is it good is it bad let me know please.
But most of all, if you have more to give about Siptah camps please do, we all need to share what we experience, it makes us better, stronger.

Last once again thank you my friend @Frillen for this pushing, really :metal:. If you wish me to continue with surges now to see if it’s best or worst please do, i would gladly accept this challenge too. But please again from scratch, i enjoy it better, like @sestus2009 says i am a bit of mazochist :rofl::rofl:.

Ps. If someone wishes to deliver the crafters and all the other goodies of this session please say. It’s on 8016. Decay timers are off but i won’t see me playing again in this server, it’s extremely laggy for me.

Ps2, never forget to have fun

Thanks for the welcome.
I’ve played on the island but never really delved into it.
I sometimes delight in the exiled lands, nothing special.

Today is my second “day first” . I checked a couple other official servers, but the situation was similar. So without further delay i went sp barbaric mode and i’ll leave the official effort for another day.
I started really good, fortunately the starting river is clean and a player can proceed lvling and gearing easy. A fast raid on the Darfari abysmal camp is giving you stone weapons to be able to fight in the starting river. Tessa and the other beloved fellows are giving you fast and easy medium gear and why not a long sword too with a little luck. So i stayed about 40 minutes going up and down killing and lvling a bit and i took my way to Sepermeru to start settling. My first bench was a tanners bench to fix fiber.

I started raiding the Sepermeru chests for weapons and other goodies and whenever i had sandstorm i was visiting the bar

Of course i payed my respects to Szeth

Then i started going to den too and after a couple hours i managed to fix the first necessary too

My horse was ready so it was time to start raiding north too

The time passed i got lvl 35 and i believe i had what i need to fix a small shelter and some benches

It looks easy but it’s not. We are not able to use tools so we will find trouble to a lot. It’s difficult to feed your horse, it’s difficult to gain fuel and i will have to break my head to see how i will make it, but i will.
See you tomorrow :metal:

Edit. Omg i posted to the wrong challenge :man_facepalming:.
