Challenges x10 not coming back

Hello.
I’ve been playing hours for two days, and I can’t seem to be able to regain the x10 for the challenges. They reappeared only once (for the 5 quests visible on the moment), then disappeared again once the 5 quests were completed. How many challenges must you complete to regain the x10 please? Doing it without the boost for two days drained me of all my energy, I can’t imagine finishing the Battle Pass like that :face_with_head_bandage:

Don’t waste your boost on low challenges, normally every 24 hours the xp boost rises.

I only do the strong challenges. But I have to reset them quite often, specially when they ask me to survive a Maelstrom event on the Exiled Lands.

The x10 bonuses work a little weirdly, but you can manipulate them to your advantage. First we’ll talk about how to they work.

Every day, 5 of these bonuses regenerate. I forget the exact time, but its every 24 hours.

When they regenerate, they find a ‘slot’ to go into. If you complete every challenge with a bonus, these 5 bonuses will fill every slot. If you’ve only done say… two. Then those two slots will be filled, and the leftover 3 will be banked.

If you did no challenges, then all 5 will be banked. You can bank up to 30 at once, challenges banked after that are lost.

When you have banked challenges, they will fill any slot that is completed.

Now here’s where you can get the most bang out of your buck. Let the challenges accrue in the bank. You can go to 30 (takes 6 days), or you can start a little earlier. Now complete the challenges in the fourth and fifth slots (the two in the right hand side), if they are purple or gold. If they are not purple or gold, use one of your daily resets. Sometimes slot 3 will have a decent challenge, do them as well if you see them.

The trick here is to only use the bonuses with Purple, Gold, and if those aren’t appearing, Blue (to get a Purple or Gold to appear in its place).

When you complete them, they will reset and give another high level challenge and then get filled in with a bonus. You keep doing this until you run out of bonuses. If you do this with a fully bank of 30 challenges, you can easily go from level 1 to 25-35 (highest I’ve done is 46) in one sitting on your battlepass.

This allows players to complete their battlepasses in a little under a week in most situations.

There is only one downside to this method. It doesn’t work with end of cycle bonuses. Because extra bonuses are cut off if the bank is full, you have a chance of missing them. But you can still manipulate this as well. When FC announces they are going to give those bonuses, try to expend all of your bonus the day before. This way the next day they will fill up your bonuses and bank with x50 bonuses. Allowing you to complete your battlepass in 2 days tops (even if doing it on public servers). This is the method I use on my alt accounts.

Wow. Thank you very much, I did not know about all of this. My counter says I am at 0 bonus of x10 on the screen, even when I am given some. I truly don’t understand how it’s all working lol. So 30 challenges to cumulate, uh. Interesting. I usually go for the purple and gold ones, but when I roll the dice, they often reset without the x10 bonus. And worse, when I try to reset the 40 exp challenge in the hope of getting a better one, they give me a 30 exp challenge in exchange most of the time --’

Just focus on the two challenges on the right for a few days and bank the rest. Banked bonuses cap is twenty.

This.

You will see bonuses on the left hand side. Do not complete those challenges. Let the bonuses ‘sit’ on them so that the ones you get per day accrue in the right hand side and the left over gets banked.

The banked bonuses are shown in the upper right where you normally see the counter saying 0. Unused bonuses will accrue there until it says 30.

Just one correction to this. You can only accumulate 20 bonuses beyond the 5 applied to the existing challenges.

Another question please. There is a timer on the top left, saying it is the time left before the challenges reset. What does it do in real please? Because I was at less than 1 hour left. Then I died. When I respawned, it was back to 33h+ left to wait. In the meantime, I have not gotten any change of challenges, nor gotten any x10 bonus.

And now I’m so desperate, I am logging off the game to see if time passes faster.

Feedback: after logging back in just now, the timer changed to 1h+.

Less than 1h now. So stressing.

How the heck can my game go from 30 fps to 1 fps when I am not doing anything in particular, just looking at the battle pass and knowledge? Horse feathers. So close, so close to the reset!

The timer countdown is for when the dailies refresh

Ooh, thank you! I thought it would reset my x10 too lol. I am too greedy. Well, at least, it will reset that Maelstrom quest I cannot get rid of.

Woo, Jackpot! New quests, new x10, new dice!
I haven’t even started the challenges, it looks like the game saved an old progression!
Still 1 fps
