Bug Description:

  1. extreme lag in opening cutscene, making it really difficult to skip
  2. Existing character actions or knowledge page progress are not registering in new journey system
  3. Step 2 in the survivor category (investigate the smoke nearby) is impossible to complete as there is no smoke anywhere in the southern desert.
  4. invisible creatures are still present,

Bug Reproduction:

load a chapter 2 character after chapter 3 update.

Additional bugs

the following do not register as completed:

Harvest bark from a tree with a pick, tried both a stone pick and an iron pick, got bark but doesn’t register.

Smelt an iron bar, put ironstone and coal into furnace, iron bar was created but did not register.

You need to empty all bark out of your inventry first then it works hope it helps this goes for everything so, wood ,stone ect

Same. Just downloaded the new update and the game is nigh unplayable currently. At most it’s running on 12fps and that’s being generous.

Plus the "investigate the smoke nearby’ mission is at the beginning spawnpoint, where you usually find the letter and the waterskin.

Good tip on the bark, @Lee100 ! I also change between the journeys to get past this annoying pick-hiccup.

that journey step should have mentioned “Broken highway” instead of just southern desert, an existing player wouldn’t have thought to go back there since there was nothing there previously.

“Investigate the Smoke nearby” also bugged on PC too. Tried small camps, the Dafari enclave, and even talked to the dingbat at the statues on the bank of the river. Nothing…
