Was it intended for the game to completely ignore everything the player has done before the journey reset?, also some of the journey steps are not applicable to single player e.g siege and raids which would require starting a new journey in pvp modes from scratch again.
Finally update complete for ps5 taken hours guess what Samsung tv remote can affect and pause ps5 download . Looking to what is happening now. @shadowwraith
i have unlocked most of the knowledge page but the journey steps are not detecting that as many of the journey steps require knowledge unlocks, also player actions since the journey reset are not counting towards journey progress.
When in inventory my character shows to have some new armor on swapped types tried dying and taking everything thing off. If this is a sales display pitch it’s not working.
This new journey system was not tested at all on an existing character as non of my actions are registering in the journey page and i cannot get past step 2 in the survivor category (investigate the smoke) as there is no smoke anywhere in the southern desert regardless if the display options are set to quality or performance.
Check off one that is not locked I am working on a couple agree it’s not right level 40? On Siptah not starting over will go back to our private server first. @gamma198
the lag is worse on ps4 with the new update, the opening cutscene was stuttering really bad (previously it was stutter free) and siptah is a nightmare atm
I don’t know whether many people know this yet, but this new journey system requires you to complete all of the journey steps in a specific order. You cannot advance to another step in one journey without having done the previous one. This also means if you have already allocated attribute points and got specific knowledge feats, it is impossible to get beyond the first journey without being admin, or drinking potions to reset attributes/feats. It was better before when you could just complete any journey step at any time. Sucks for my lvl 60 character, who now has to craft stone tools and fibre clothes again…
I’d be cool with not doing it if they added a way to remove the window from the top right of the screen. I’m a bit of a completionist - the fact that I can see there’s things I haven’t done bothers me. The order that you’re told to do things in doesn’t really make sense unless you’re a first time player…
Luckily, on PC, you can turn it off
About the progression, as I have been doing it more and more, I am gradually getting used to it.
Just think this, if it doesn’t require you to switch between steps, or there’s no order, then everything will be automatically be unlocked the moment you open the game, cos you have already explored everything. Then the system will be non-existence, and rather a free gift.
