My game froze on me so i backed out and reloaded only to have my journey steps and knowledges all reset. Very upsetting and hoping a correction can be made. I had learned all knowledges(except dlc) including esoteric. Aswell as all journey steps complete except summon an avatar for the acolyte journey. Can i get them back somehow please as i have spent alot of time completing everything?

Yes it is single player. I however sort of fixed it. I discovered some save data from a cpl days prior and downloaded and overwrit the current data. It had been just before i started a purge and lost a bunch of thralls and pets. So i got them back aswell as my knowledges and journey steps(aside from complete a purge).

Happenend again. This time no previous save data.
Im having the same issue. Repeated reinstalls are not fixing the issue. I havent had a character last more than 12 hours of gameplay before being forced to start over 2 weeks i play almost daily, and i havent progressed past level 45 once.
