Character moves by it self in game (NOT THE CONTROLLER)

Since chapter 2 arrived my character is moving by it self erraticaly whenever i try to push the toggle gently.

Recently ive noticed it even more since ive been building and decorating when placing stuff on walls such as book shelves with decoration.

It happens when i make subtle movements and the character starts running in one direction or another, it doesnt really matter which direction, it just takes off as if i was pushing hard.

Ive tried replicating the same issue in other games like ark, fo76, division 1 n 2 and so on… but it only happens in conan.

Also tried with 2 more controllers and the issue remains IN CONAN.

Im on ps5 btw

Hmm… if it’s not happening in other games, that’s strange. I know the ps5 controllers are extremely prone to stick drift. I haven’t had any issues with this either. Only time I have issues is when I get stick drift. That means it can happen in any game.

I’ve had this happen to me a few times on PS5 Official, it generally happens only if I’ve been logged in for a few hours, normally logging out and back in fixes it.

Might be attributed to lag and ram storage overload maybe.

I only get the drift when I use ps-web-browser. I my new, yes new, controller drifted. That logically means there is something that tests a threshold before it lets it drift.

Instead of config menus and trying to reset everything related, just skip all that and open the controller to clean it.

yesterday i bought a brand new controller, and after the proper driver update i launched the game.

guess what?.. it drifted

@Coyote0903 might be right because i know i left the game open for over 10hrs (went to bed and left the console on) and the issue happened again.

usually all i have to do is restart the console, but this time when i did that, it didnt fix the issue…

Then I launched fo76 as my test subject and no drift happens in there
