Just to say that I understand that Character Transfer still has a few issues and I’m not trying to start a thread of complaints about it, just wondering if anyone can help with my problem or at least steer me in the right direction.
First time I tried to transfer a character I got the message about unable to import character. No big deal, I experimented with an old character(my first ever) which I had no attachment to just in case something like this happened. However, now when I try to transfer any other character on that same account it tells me that I’ve already done a transfer and need to import character first. Yet no matter what server I go to it does not give me an option to import character. I feel like I’m stuck in a loop here and I’m not sure if there’s a way to fix the problem.
Thank you, I actually just resolved the issue. It would not let me transfer it from a 28 server to a 25 server due to incompatible pvp settings, which is odd because they’re both official pvp servers. So I tried to send it back to its server of origin but blah blah blah deserialization issue. So I then tried to a different 28 server and it let me import it.
Glad you got it working! Thanks for keeping us posted. It’s always annoying when someone posts “I have an issue” and then later on says “Got it, thanks!” and then doesn’t tell us how they fixed the problem.
Agreed. And just to reiterate, until today the game wouldn’t even give me the option to click import character on any of the official pvp servers I chose and I even tried it to 1 pve-c server. Don’t know why it started working today, it’s been over a week since the initial transfer attempt
