Every now and then, seemingly randomly, my character’s head becomes stuck looking either left or right (usually at virtually a 90 degree angle, though sometimes it’s less pronounced). The character looks really demented moving around like that, yet fortunately a reload fixes it (sometimes it takes multiple reloads).
I notice that someone else has reported the same problem here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/440900/discussions/0/3393916911748360408/
I’ve been experiencing this bug for a couple of weeks now, but haven’t reported it as I’ve been trying to figure out what is triggering it, so as to suggest how to reproduce it. I still have no idea except for the fact that it seems to occur more frequently upon reloading a game when my character is in an area with buildings/thralls. I have developed the habit of taking my character outside of my base before exiting the game as a way of dealing with this bug, and have not (yet) had the bug occur upon loading when I do so.
However, sometimes the bug will also occur during gameplay for no discernible reason. This is particularly annoying if I am far from my base as the required reload(s) will tend to turn my drying racks & smelters on (these also appear to be bugged, often turning themselves on upon loading even if they have nothing in them to process beyond fuel) and I don’t like wasting the fuel. Strangely, not all of my smelters are usually affected (i.e. only one or two out of three will turn themselves on upon loading, occasionally all do). So, I have also had to develop the habit of checking my drying racks and smelters upon every reload, while hoping that my character’s head will be functioning properly.
Please fix if possible. This is one of the most fun games I’ve ever played, yet also the most frustrating due to the ubiquitous bugs and obviously ‘incomplete’ features like the lacklustre/semi-functional AI (enemy & thrall), useless merchants & bearer thralls etc, not even to consider the absence of mounts, sorcery and city life. It would be my favourite game of all time if polished and with its vision fulfilled… I would pay through the nose for that to happen.
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
