This may not come as a surprise, but much like regular tables, it’s possible to pick-up the King’s Board and thereby lose all of the pieces placed upon it. IMO, both the King’s Board as well as normal tables need to have some form of protection to prevent accidental pick-ups and deletions.
As it is now, I can’t see anyone being able to successfully play a game of Chess to conclusion without accidentally picking up the board and deleting over 800-stone worth of placeables. At the very least, picking a board or table shouldn’t destroy everything that was placed upon it, but rather drop it into a loot bag.
