Conan Exiles Enhanced - Community Update #3

Greetings Exiles,

This week, Conan Exiles Enhanced received its first patch, and thanks to all of you, the game continues to grow and improve!
We are committed to making the game better with each update to positively impact the overall gaming experience.

Online experience and server performance

Although server performance continues to improve, we understand that some of you are still experiencing issues with ping, rubberbanding, and server lag. With the latest patch, we introduced a Refresh button that shows the correct ping for each server and helps you find the perfect one.

We’re currently testing and adjusting more settings to improve online play on official servers.
Please continue to report any performance issues you are experiencing through our help center.
You can read more about how to submit reports here: [PC] Conan Exiles Enhanced Bug Report Guidelines

Mod compatibility

The new patch briefly rendered the community mods incompatible with the latest game version, resulting in the game crashing upon launch. We are taking additional precautions to prevent this from happening again with future game updates.

If your game fails to launch, try removing all mods, as a version conflict may be causing Conan Exiles Enhanced to crash. Community mods are updated regularly, and you can check for updates by viewing your subscribed mods on Steam.

Hotfixes and patches

Our newest patch was released on 2026-05-19T14:00:00Z and, among other things, it includes the following changes:

  • Improved server browser performance on filtered searches.
  • Server browser filters are now saved between sessions.
  • Ping will now be closer to the network latency to help players join servers close to
    them.
  • Implemented color dyeing for saddles.
    • We know that adding saddle dyeing to the core game has been a longstanding request from the community. As such, we would like to thank and acknowledge the time, effort, and passion of community members and modders, such as Testerle, who were the first to make this feature (and so many others!) available to the community through mods, such as Fashionist. Thank you!
  • Various exploit fixes.
    • We would like to thank our Whitehat community team for helping us identify and address exploits. The Whitehat team are community members who are security experts and love Conan Exiles. They want to improve the gaming experience for everyone. Thank you again for helping us!

Next month in June, there will be more patches coming. Prepare for more QoL improvements, bug fixes and a few cool things we think everyone will be excited about.

As always, full patch notes will be shared on the release day.

Thank you for being part of this wonderful community and for your full support while we continue to work on improving Conan Exiles Enhanced.

This is a really dangerous tip, especially for people who don’t have much experience with modded games. If you’re going to give this tip, you should at least add a note advising people to back up their save files first. It’s not much use if the game works after removing all the mods, but the entire base is gone because you used a building mod.

I test mods in SP starting a brand new game. We have 3 independent slots now so it’s easier than before.

Thank you SO much Funcom and team! I have played this game for 8+ years and am SO happy you are revitalizing it! Add some cool stuff to the Bazaar, I already basically own everything but if you put some more cool stuff in there…I’m buying!!!

Thank you for these consecutive patches.

I hope you’ll be able to fix the HTTP request issue that prevents cluster mods from working and is preventing us from being able to launch/open our servers. :folded_hands:

So how many reports have you guys received for the unplayable lag and D sync? This is one of the greatest survival games ever made. And just because you guys cannot seem to fix the lag and D sync this game is going to die again. FIX THE LAG AND D SYNC, and STOP ADDED THINGS BEFORE YOU FIGURE THAT OUT!!!

After the latest update the game freezes on the loading screen of entering a server

Okay, so, to be completely honest, this is all I ever really wanted from Funcom.

Consistent communication and iterative updates.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the Enhanced and appreciate the patches but what I appreciate most is feeling like the game is not under active vandalization any longer.

I don’t expect developer feedback or a Q&A. All I really want is a timely notice that the game has not gone dark and updates that address accurate bug reports. It would be nice to break the cycle of Age of War and Age of Heroes and have new content that was not broken, but I’d be fine with just bug remediation until the game is stable, again.

I have been impressed with how Funcom and Inflexion have worked together and since I am so vocal about my criticisms, I wanted to be just as vocal about my praise.

While everything isn’t perfect, the movement is in the right direction and it is greatly appreciated.

Be well.

Dude, mods are used in an ā€œas-inā€ condition. Funcom is not obligated to consider anything.

You want to be safe, set your game up not to auto update and only update when you are notified the mods have been updated.

Asking Funcom to police mods is silly, at best.

Lastly, mods are a volunteer effort. If you use a mod and don’t, at least, tip the creator, it’s a crap thing to do. But mod updates will lag, because folks have real life. Which is why folks should set the game not to auto update if they use mods.

just fix the server every time we log in we cant play, too much lag and i dont talk for one server just all the game beter the old conan no lags no nothing now its worse we cant play dont work lags etc and dont tell me about my pc its not ,

Oh and to our ā€˜beloved’ console community. Crickets

I have no idea where you supposedly read that in my post. I didn’t say a single word to that effect. But giving players tips that could ruin the save game… sorry, but I expect a little more foresight from Funcom. After all, modding is officially supported, so they really should provide a little more caution.

Can we get events going on? Is there a reason to why we are not having Head Hunter / Jhebal Sag or Dregs event active?

Unfortunately the things you think everyone will be exited about usually aren’t like that at all. Hopefully i’ll see fixes for the building issues that have been around for years when i go and read the full patch notes next.

What a surprise, no fixes for the build sets or the building issues.

Now if you’d just get server decay timers and transfers back on console!???

The lag and rubberbanding on officials is out of control to the point of unplayable. I log on to a server with 64ping, start running around and its nothing but rubberbanding, delays in keypresses, thralls just running in place for a few seconds. Its bad.

funcom doesnt know what those are, the old dev team who made it was fired. havnt had Jhebbal Sag event for months, or the dark dregs.

  • The lag is still there
  • Weapon handling while on horseback hasn’t been fixed
  • The thralls’ AI is still terrible
  • LS is still enabled

Should I continue?

What do you think professor? it is easier for them to read the list of bugs here than scattered across the forums or reddit
