Convert a Competent Crafter journey step not completing

Has anyone completed the Convert Competent Crafter step for the Overlord Journey?

I have knocked out crafters, put them on the wheel, assigned them to benches, switched tier 4 thralls around, closed my inventory between benches, assigned them to new benches, old benches…

I have no mods and this steps one of my last in the journey process, i have had to difficult things to complete other steps from reentering the sorcers cave sixty billion times to making sure im not encumbered whilst collecting things… they have been finicky as. This one i cant get… its driving me nuts.

Any suggestions?

I had to have the journey active the entire time. Before I went to knock out the T4 crafter and all the way until it was done breaking and then in my inventory

That’s odd because the step completed immediately for me when I placed a T4 crafter thrall on the wheel. In my case, it was a named sorcerer.

Thanks i tried it again with a tier 4 priest and it popped up. Im guessing i didnt have that journey up when i put my tier 4 thrall on the wheel the first time, then moving him around was never going to trigger it.
