When i attempt to load a coop save it says create session failed. Please help

I keep getting this same message after I click continue on a single player/coop game and choose to enable coop mode. Me and my buddy play on my coop world but I can’t activate coop because when I try to activate it all it says is checking permissions then goes to create session failed
