Crocodiles will follow you into deep water, but as they cannot attack while swimming, they just eventually lose aggro and sit there, doing nothing. You can pet them and they’re cool with it.
They also have no swim animation, they just walk near the surface of the water.
Repro steps:
- Pick on a croc.
- Run into deep water.
- Play marco polo with your new friend.
