use pickaxe or pick on crystal nodes in caves and the crystal disapperars but does not show harvested or arrive in inventorty

This was an intentional change, but will be reverted with the Age of Heroes update.
Was it? I thought it was just a run of the mill funcom oops, so was in no hurry to fix it.

This was an intended change made in Chapter 4 of the Age of War and was announced here: PS4 Update - Age of War Chapter 4 (4.2.2024)

Not coming at you but this is a typical funcom.
This “issue” has been in game since the game dropped. Took how many years to fix it?
That is why a lot of people thought the fix was a bug.
But this “bug” has been reintroduce in AoH
