Dancers useless

Game mode: Online private
Type of issue: Bug
Server type: PvE
Region: EU

The dancers have become completely useless. Before big patches, the dancer being next to the hero regenerated hero HP. Now even the named dancer has become nothing more than a decoration.

1.Stand next to the dancer.
2.Nothing happens.

I reported this in Testlive before Live release. It will say [Entertainment 1] then when it should uptick to 2, it goes blank and does nothing.

Yep i agree, outside of the corruption removal and some nice animation in your living room they have become pretty much useless….just a pity.
Btw dancers used to provide a descent buff during the EA, sure not as OP as the one mentioned above but still ok. Why Don’t you guys Simply come back to that kind of stuff?

I noticed my corruption goes away after few hours. Good to know dancers are useless to tame now. Shame.

Even named dancers are useless.

Regen happens when your entertainment reaches 10 I have seen this when I have 3 or more dancers lvl 3s in one spot

Correct

Yeah, I think it’s broken with the last big update so that it requires multiple dancers now (something about the uptick (buff stacking) getting canceled). A single level 2 (nevertheless a named) should certainly fulfill the hp regeneration and corruption cleansing, but they’re not.

Even when i’m at lvl 10 “entertained” i Don’t think i’m getting any extra health regen when i get out of my dancers’ range. I haven’t done proper testing in that regard yet so if someone has, please let us know

And that’s the problem, the extra health regen buff we used to have during EA takes its full sense when you’re venturing on the map, NOT when you stay in safety at your base.
So if i’m not wrong and you loose the buff when out of dancers" range, then dancers are Indeed kinda useless.

Dancers are mostly useful for creating the illusion of life in an otherwise pretty dead base (shout out to Blacksmiths, too!).

Well that and removing the inevitable corruption, without which everyone would die!

So while it might seem like limited functionality (particularly on servers where friendly sorts have placed dancers at or near obelisks), they do actually serve a pretty crucial function I’d say.

I mean I’m not against them getting more utility by any means, but it’s not strictly necessary IMO.

Sure i agree it’s no big deal mikey, we can live with dancers the way they currently are, but still, i think the old little buff was sthing enjoyable, especially for new comers and low lvl char.

No arguments there, just wanted to point out that the anti-corruption thing is easy to take for granted, but actually pretty crucial

true.

I am adding the poor things to our list for balancing checks.
