Everytime I long onto my character after about 20 or so seconds it dashboards my game it’s on an official server and I’ve restarted my xbox multiple times but it continues to happen
It’s not just official servers. I’m playing on a gportal server and was having the same issue. This included after I transferred the game from my external hard drive to internal to rule that out.

So it’s been happening for a long time now and I’m getting sick of it, My game keeps crashing.
I start up the game and it loads the approximately 10 seconds later it crashes back to dashboard, I’ve tried to fix the game through a few various methods suggested but it isn’t working.
What’s worse is we are at purge and I have less than an hour before purge time begins, I’m tired of losing stuff because I can’t login and getting purged.
I decided to post this after reaching a breaking point. I logged off for about 5 minutes to make food ( logged out so I wouldn’t starve or die of thirst) and it started crashing!
I’m growing inpatient with these bugs the games been around for a long time and it’s still got crushing problems, think you might want to start fixing the bugs than releasing more DLC, you know fix your content instead of releasing more paid content.
Sadly this has been going on for years and all we can do is sue Funcor
I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing this bug Badhaxxor. It was one which snuck in during a patch last year in May. The developers have promised a fix is coming but until then their recommended workaround is:
✓ log into a single player session for a few minutes. It should fix the issue. Hope it helps!
