Last year when I played this I was able to put almost ten items on one shelf. Things besides one another, two rows of cups on one shelf. Now I start decorating and I can fit three candles and one skull… everything sticks to everything else like a magnet, goes in walls and…you can place a candle on top of another, but not side by side without there being a big space in between for two more candles.
It wasn’t like this last year, what happened? 
It’s a known bug that they are trying to fix currently.

Thanks. I hope that gets fixed soon. As the user in there said, snapping, I hate it!
