Degenerate Boss Still Doesn't Spawn In

Bug Description:

I am a speedrunner for the game. In my runs, I keep on having the Degenerate Boss not spawned as it should be. I have done the work around of making myself an admin and going ghost and getting out of ghost for it to spawn again and have to redo the boss fight. I was hoping not to have to continue do that and have the boss spawned right when I get in. As this is one of the more crucial and plot relevant dungeons, it is very difficult for players casually to finish the game.

Steps to Reproduce:

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. Please be as detailed as possible; the more details, the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Enter Well of Skelos
  2. Go through Well of Skelos
  3. Approach boss room
  4. Defeat waves of ghost enemies
  5. Once shield is down, no boss.
