Delay when checking/changing mods

Concerning the incredibly long delay (3 minutes at least) I experience every time I change mods or join a server with a mod mismatch:

Is this a bug? Does it happen to everyone? What is the cause?

When you manage your mods in the game, it takes a long time for the menu to appear.
Manage your mods outside, in the “modlist.txt”. Since you need to restart CE, it makes no difference. You can find the file in the folder “[WHERE_EVER_EXILES_INSTALLED]/Conan Exiles/ConanSandbox/Mods/”.

Tip:
If you know the mods, versions and load order of the mods from the server, you can bypass the mod check window. To do this:

  • Open your “modlist.txt”,
  • Put all mods in the right order
  • Remove any * (asterisk) in front of each line.
  • Save the modlist.txt.
  • Restart Conan Exiles
  • Establish connection to the server
