Bug Description:
Delving bench is no longer working after the AoH update. I tried fresh crafted star metal Short Sword and Katana as well as several legendary and epic weapons and armor pieces all with the same disappointing result: the delving process would not start as before the update afteryou put in the weapon/armor plus any amount above 50 Eldarium in the bench.
Bug Reproduction:
Put any fresh made star metal weapon (Short Sword, Katana) and 50 Eldarium in the delving bench and see that nothing moves
Iām wondering if there is anything else I can contribute in order to get my bug report acknowledged and/or the bug fixed. I understand that you get overwhelmed by bug reports (which could have been avoided by proper beta testing or listening to all the feedback from the public beta), however, these kind of bugs severely influence the game flow and experience and should be looked at with appropriate engagement.
Oh manā¦thanks a lot for testing it out on PC and solo. Maybe it would support getting the issue recognized if you would open a similar bug report on the PC subforum
Iām wondering if itās really that much asked for to get an estimate for certain bugs being fixed, let alone any reaction. The unresponsiveness close to complete ignorance is an unmatched example of abysmal customer service and still people (including myself) hold on to this game, despite being disappointed regularly.
That said, couldnāt you please at least try to make some effort to be more transparent on bug fixing activities and more open and frequent in your communication about the current state and short- to mid-term planning
Well, I donāt think there will be any official reply or statement. That said, Iām keeping my fingers crossed that this will also be adressed with the upcoming hotfixā¦
So, if the hotfix fixed anything at all, it was definitely not the delving bench, which probably was expectable but of which I also was naive enough to hope for.
That said, probably time will tell what else the hotfix wouldnāt fix or whatā a colorful bouquet of new bugs itās about to surprise us withā¦
Thatās a Siptah exclusive problem.
You may have noticed they donāt really give a cluck about Siptah.
The Black Corsair faction has been immune to the truncheon since the end of Age of War and no progress on that either.
How are people still playing this game is beyond me. Game is riddled with bugs. The delving bench bug has been in the game for years and will never be resolved because according to statistics Funcom is still making enough money without fixing anything so why should they care.
this is SUPER frustrating for those of us just starting on Siptah, to not be able to use delving bench to research recipes. Almost as annoying as not being able to learn the purple lotus from journeys because āplace a crafting thrallā is now borked in that journey.
