“Oh, they sent me a handsome one,” the older woman remarks, looking Ollie over as she runs a hand along his side before circling him like she’s inspecting a show dog or a race horse, “Young, firm.”
The man stands there, expression neutral. He’s done this dance many times.
“We’re going to have a very good time tonight,” she assures. He watches the wealthy heiress with a practiced smile, looking past caked-on makeup and creasing skin, trying to imagine what she must have looked like in her youth.
“And in the morning,” she says, “The best coffee you’ve ever tasted.”
