I ran across a bug where my pet greater bear disappeared from my base/was not accessible yet it registered on the map as being present and accounted for in the followers tab being at my base. It was set to follow me, so I ran away from my base and it popped in. No issue. Then I ran back into my base and it disappeared again. What I noticed is that when it crossed the threshold of the drawbridge(the end piece that bends out when extended), it simple went away. I tested it in the same manner at least one more time and got the same results. Eventually I picked up the bear, crossed the bridge and placed it inside my base.
