Well Flemish Giant Rabbits are mainly breed for their meat. I worked for the Topeka Zoo here in Kansas for a decade and my boss had one on his farm that weighed about fifty pounds he would bring to certain events we would work. It would only let me hold it and would bite everyone else. I named him Stewie and when people would ask why I named him that I would just reply Rabbit Stew. The boss thought it was funny and kept the name.

Rabbit meat turns a good profit though. Spend a little to make a lot. The little ones are breed for their fur.
