I need a spot of help. As many among us would have heard, the four older events will no longer spawn, following the implementation of the ‘fix’ for the newer ones. What this means is that I will no longer have and opportunity to actually play these Encounters and earn their rewards. While this was an undesireable development for me, and I will be leaving feedback regarding this soon enough, it is not why I am posting this thread. The reason for creating this thread is with no other alternative available to me, I have two options to obtain any unique items they may have offered; cheat them using the admin panel or do without them forever. So I am wondering, if any members of the community could be kind enough to let me know if any or all of the four earlier Encounters yielded any unique items, and if they are still available in the admin panel. If so, could you please post a list of unique items for each of the following Encounters/Events.
A Snake Cult Caravan
Sacrifice Interrupted
Grave matters
Portal to Yuggoth
I would be most grateful for any assistance. I will start by tagging in a couple of dear friends @sestus2009 and @stelagel. Any ideas community?
No armor, weapons, ingredients, heads or…anything!? Thralls?
But my partner found bile of strength, bile of accuracy, bile or survival and jailor’s key. I know that the latter is unique to Siptah, which I seldom play. in the portal to Yuggoth encounter. Perhaps I should have clarified unique to the Exiled Lands?. I also recall hearimg somewhere that one creature yields a heart which can serve as a fuel source?
For me the only special these events had was the opportunity to do them, to do something different. I remember on the mount of dead (old event) use to spawn a taskmaster that you could enslave! Then on Buccaneers bay (new event) i once found a set named priest. I was watching @Wonka video the other day on Siptah and i remember that he looted legendary weapons…
But unique (?), nothing! At least from my small experience in these events. I just passed them, did them at least once and that’s it.
I was talking with @jmk1999 the past days and he told me his experience about the encounter witch hunt… Let’s say i envy that he did it because it’s cool, but from the loot he told me, i can say nothing else than cool.
These events are just another option, interesting option, that you will loot things in both maps that they already exist anyway!
Making them is just cool, at least for me and the poor knowledge i possess!
I wish i could give more info, or better info, but this is all i got here !
The Portal to Yuggoth used to drop biles and schematic fragments. Apparently these were intended to be Siptah-exclusive and were removed from their drops. Currently (if it worked), the Portal to Yuggoth offers nothing.
You can (could? not sure if they removed those too) get jailer’s keys from Snake Cult Caravan. They serve no purpose on the Exiled Lands as there are no thrall cages there to open. This event does drop Venom-sacs from the final boss. This Siptah-item is unique to the EL, but its use is to open it to get random poisons, which are not unique - except for the Scorpion Queen Venom, which has no known use.
Similarly to the Venom-sac, enemies in Sacrifice Interrupted could drop Blood-Sacs and Stomach-Sacs. Again, Siptah-items whose purpose is to open them to get random non-unique items. The boss also drops Corrupted Liver, which is another Siptah-item, but instead of opening it to get non-unique items, you press it to get non-unique items. And, similar to jailer keys, you could also get Unstable ???? that have no use in the EL.
Yes, there were some priests in Snake Cult Caravan that were normally unattainable on the EL. I suppose you could call those unique.
I did document all of the encounters on the wiki, by the way:
Yeah, some useful Siptah-specific drops such as the Biles used to drop from the encounters. But they’re basically weapon mods by another name (apparently worse, because they count as a food buff but take the slot of a weapon mod).
The jailor key doesn’t do anything in Exiled Lands, and I barely bother with them on Siptah either unless there’s a T4 thrall in a cage.
And the monsters could be harvested for essences (the ??? items), which again has no use in Exiled Lands.
So no, the encounters were never really rewarding. The only semi-worthwhile thing in Exiled Lands was the fact that the monsters dropped black ice, demon blood, raw ash and brimstone, which are less easy to gather in large quantities than on Siptah. That’s how I got the materials for my first Skelos Master robes - no need to trek to the Volcano.
Thankyou all very much peoples @stelagel, @Tephra and @Kapoteeni! While I did specify unique originally, and that is what I intended to say, I am going to shift the parameters a little. I am also going to shift the terminology from unique to Items Not Ordinarilly Available In The Exiled Lands. So I will add any Siptah items to the list of things I would like to obtain. To be clear, it does not matter to me if the item currently has no use/function or is simply used to house already existing items in the EL. If it is somethings we can not go out and obtain through the usual battle or harvesting means but exists through the Encounters; I definately want it! Does this make sense here good peoples!?
Ok so thus far I have seen listed here and on the Wiki:
Blood sacs, stomach sacs, corrupted liver, venom sacs, jailers keys, unstable ???, 3 Set priests, biles, torn parchment, potion of lost souls (was in halloween event). But what of this (molten?) Heart which acts as a fuel source, I think one of the Blowback creatures drops it(?).
I think I saw it on a video, it depicted a lizard like creature which spawns as an alternative to a muahroom head like creature. Does this creature sound familiar? Forgive my vague descriptions.
The Molten Heart would come from the Avatar of Bokrug, which is lizard-like.
I suppose it is possible the final boss of Blowback is random. While I initiated the encounter several times to write the article for it, I only defeated it once and the boss was just the same Blood-moon Beast as Sacrifice Interrupted.
Or maybe the Avatar of Bokrug used to appear in Blowback and was removed at some point.
I must admit I haven’t even seen the Blowback encounter; it has always refused to start on my Single-Player. The bosses for the Sacrifice Interrupted, Portal to Yuggoth and Snake Cult Caravan encounters have always been the same, so I assumed this would be the case for Blowback too - and since I had read it was the Blood-Moon Beast, I never bothered to figure out what was wrong with the encounter not triggering.
Blowback did not work until Chapter 2, then when they fixed Witch Hunt, it stopped working again, so there was a very small window when it actually worked properly.
Probably most videos of it are from testlive, which may not be accurate to how it would currently work - if it worked.
It’s called something like blood moon beast, or something like it (so many names dude impossible to remember all of them) . It’s a Siptah boss that so far i found it in fractured citadel and as statuette summon in Grey pools. This particular boss is giving you a really good bow if i remember correctly, but the best part in this boss is the shining???. One of this deliver 100 points for surge and if you combine your farming with the goblin sigils and eldarium sickle you gain 3 shining in each kill. You can understand how important this is for Siptah since tier4 surges (1000???) provides crucial knowledge, magnificent loot, tier 4 crafters and magnificent plus unique thralls!
Molten heart… Cool, just this!
It gives you some minutes of fuel in your furnace… just cool! Place a stack of dry wood, or oil and forget to refill fuel for long time . The Molten heart last some minutes and it stucks on 1. So it’s cool to have it like a shiny trinket, nothing else!
If you need to spawn them just to see what they are doing, or try to experiment with them please do, i am all in when i go back home to check the list that @Tephra (thank you🙏🏿) uploaded, because i’ve seen them all, loot them all from grey pools, but didn’t actually experiment with them a lot! So i would gladly participate in this research.
But so far… Shiny trinkets most of them, except the shining??? Which are very important in Siptah!
If the encounter still worked, I would go back and find out what all can spawn and add that to the wiki article. Oh well, I guess that will wait until whenever they decide to enable them again.
You could get new t4 fighters too. I got one. It spawned three different bosses, all from Siptah. I fought Cimmerians and Stygians on different occasions.
IMO, this was the coolest encounter. I hope Funcom brings it back.
