I have never heard of there being a hard cap on damage for followers, that is new to me then 
Well im not going to argue about it. ill change the post it take ME 4 hours to cap out two thralls at the same time.
Either way you should be getting them done even faster at 60% damage bonus.
Im using this , which according to wiki, is 20% bonus and im getting them done within 4 hours with this armor.
Im not even calculating the potions or food because you said they dont effect it right?
Damage from items - my armor- was 30% added the tears of Gullah potion adds 12% -its now at 42%
Yup, and NONE of that is actually used for thrall damage calculation if your character has the War Party perk

Can confirm.
With war party all follower dmg from gear or buffs on you does not apply.
The only buff that does is the frenzy buff from corrupted authority 5 points perk but that’s cause it’s a buff applied to them and not yourself.

So i dont have to bother with these buffs at all and still level the thralls in a 4 hour time span.
