Bug Description:

pak file corrupt or tampered with. es el error q me sala cada ves que incio el juego. ya he intentado de todo lo posible y no deja de salir ese mensaje porfavor estoy desesperado ya no se mas hacer

comprar el juego instalarlo y comenzar a jugar

This has been going on for quite a while. Just verify files with steam.

eso es lo que he estado aciendo pero el error no desaparece! necesito una solucion permanente por favor

I’m having this issue too. Verify gets me into the game once. From there, it has either crashed or I’ve had to restart to load mods. When I launch it again, it’s back to complaining about a bad pak. Then without even doing a verify, I can start the game up (mods included) and it connects and runs. We’re just getting some false error thrown about the paks and it needs to be fixed.

I have the same problem with the Epic Games version, I tried turning off VTx in BIOS and upgrading to the latest vcredist.
I made my own CRC32 checksum-files of all files in ConanSandbox\Content\Paks and verified after a corruption-flag but there is no detectable bad file.

Please, verify your files to see this is still happening:

  • Click the three dots on the right side of the game line.
  • Select Manage.
  • Click the Verify button.
  • Wait for validation to complete. It may take a while to verify all your files.
