Bug Description:
Journey step for Expert Armorer doesn’t update - step Tan Thick Hide into Thick Leather does not update when creating the leather in Tannery. Description of task states this should be done in Dryer, but dryer cannot make leather.
I have not done this specific journey myself so I cannot comment on it exactly. However, and this may be a dumb question, but did you actually take the thick hide out of the tanner? The reason I ask this is because some of the other journeys, such as cooking, do not update until you take the item you crafted out of the place you were instructed to craft it in, even though the step does not indicate that you have to do so. If you have, then I do not know.
Pick up some thick leather in your character inventory (make sure it’s a new stack and it’s not just adding to an existing stack already in your inventory)
After changing journey, logging of and back on then it worked. So there is at least a workaround.
I don’t recall if my initial attempt was with a “new” slot or adding to an existing stack… I will check this at a later time.
Those types of bugs seem to always center around the code looking for an item appearing in the inventory, not a stack count increasing. When I’ve done those steps, I just make sure I remove all of that particular item from my inventory first.
