"Fatal Error" on startup

Bug Description:

When I attempt to launch the game I, without fail, recieve a “Fatal Error” notification. The opening cinematic keeps playing if i dont acknowledge the error. When the cinematic is finished nothing happens.

Things i have already tried:

  • Verified game files
  • Deleted Logs, Saves (Never installed a single mod)
  • Reinstalled the entire game
  • Launched it outside of steam and/or the funcom launcher
  • Updated windows and drivers

I would include the log but it seems new users cant upload logs.


Bug Reproduction:

Installed the game and attempted to launch it.

For clarity, I have just bought the game with a couple of friends and since buying it (2 days ago) I have not been able to get it to launch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
