Have a private server, updated steam, updated mods. log in fine but not even a split second later, i get fatal error and get kicked out. Happens over and over again.
Troubleshoot by starting off removing the mods and add them back in one by one until you figure out which one is breaking it (this is assuming the mods are breaking it)
