Bug Description:
Fatal error crash to desktop
Nearing the completion of my build, the game now ctd with a fatal error when I try to place any kind of block. This began late stage in the game (level 55). I thought it might be a memory issue so I deleted half of my light sources and many blocks. I am now at a build stage that is far less than what I had when the ctd first started and I am still having the fatal error ctd (making a memory issue not likely). I have 2 YouTube videos showing the build after I have removed over half of the torches and blocks putting my build at a state far earlier to when the ctd started happening but without the ability to post links to these videos, I’m not sure how I could show you the current state if memory is the issue irrespective of now having less assets in use.
Installed Mods:
Some custom build and character aesthetic modification sliders, no game mechanic altering mods used. The ctd did not happen until late stage in the game making mod issues not likely. Mods are confirmed to be up to date and non-conflicting. The mod selection is heavily scrutinized with any hint of reported issues with mods disqualifying the mod from use.
Steps to Reproduce:
- From launcher click “Continue”
- Using blocks from inventory, attempt to place a block, any block, anywhere
- Fatal error pop up message with crash to desktop
