On step 3 of “Fierce Competition” the statue you find it supposed to have interactive parts in order to get to the next step. There’s nothing. No interactive parts anywhere on the statue. I’ve checked 3 times to make sure I was indeed at the right statue. I’ll check again later in case things change but I could not progress in the quest. 
The parts are very small, like the 5 small boxes in one corner.
Turns out I was at the wrong statue because I followed the path backwards somehow -_- sigh
