Fix Katanas (Special attacks)

Nope, you’d have to have a mod for it. You can see the enemy healthbars though and turn on numbers for those in the settings just like the screenshots made by @SirDaveWolf above and calculate based on that.

Was only the slash attack dealing damage. After 3 light attacks though.

I’ll play around with it when it comes out. See how badly it affects me. I will say that the red mother will definitely take longer. I just feel that most of the nerfing is done on the agility weapons side of things and I’m looking at how the 1H axe seemingly gets a pass from the PVP complainers when it’s far more over the top than the katana ever was. Grab a Ancient lemurian axe and go to town taking 3/4 health from folks left and right…just baffling how biased the complaints are.

Agree 100%. This wasn’t needed. Can you even technically get one shot by something that takes a three shot set up with a telegraphing animation? Plus the stamina cost and window of vulnerability.

People say they want variety and we’ll, this happens. Every time.

On large hitbox targets the DPS loss without this dash would be quite significant actually, around ~90

Gonna throw away my katanas thou if I’ll be forced to spam light attacks all day :smiley:

As long as the katana still has the dash attack that goes through things.

I need it sometimes in PVE, when my thrall and/or horse pin me to the wall or block a doorway.

Yea, that’s pretty much how far its usefulness will extend if it stays the way it is on testlive :smiley:
