Follower suddenly not following today

Today, suddenly, my follower (thrall) will not follow me. My ping hovers around 150’s to 180’s; this is my normal for this server.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. I set my thrall to “follow”
  2. I set my thrall to “guard” OR "attack all enemies; it seems to make no difference
  3. I adjust Chase distance to various distances; again, it seems to make no difference
  4. I repeatedly pick up the thrall, set it down, reset to “follow” for the same results; it will not follow.
  5. I run various distances, direct my thrall to “move,” but it does not.
  6. I have restarted Steam, restarted the game, verified local files and repeated the above for no resolution.

You mentioned playing on a private server. Does this server run any mods?
