Freezing the screen after joining the co-op mode

Game mode: Co-op
Type of issue: Crash
Server type: -
Region: -
Mods?: No
Edition: Steam

Bug Description: I am a co-op host and when I join the game after 1 second I have a frozen screen (game sounds are heard in the background) in the task manager there is “no answer”.

The problem only occurs in cooperation mode.

Greetings,

Thank you for your report. Does your clan have a message of the day setted and appearing when you join the game?

Thanks in advance.

No, this setting is disabled

Me and my son having the same problem. We played a few hours and built a base. When I tried to launch our game the day after, I froze in the first frame in-game. Can hear the music too, but nothing is moving in my sight (leafs, animals). But I load the game without problems if I go in solo (without activating the Coop mode). No problem with new games, but having a game that don’t save brings me back to my Atari 2600.

It’s really annoying because I bought that game twice to play it with my son. So no reason to play it anymore.

For now, me and my friend decided that he would be the host because he did not have this problem and we started over.

Let us know if it<s working. We also tried that because we tested on his computer, just by starting a new game and built a campfire and he was able to load the game. Then he played some time, built more… then same problem appeared when trying to load the game.

Good luck

Greetings,

Thank you all for the additional information. Would you be able to also share with us your game logs and save files? You can find them following this path:
Logs
\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved\Logs

Save files by the name of game.db (Exiled Lands) or dlc_siptah.db (for Isle of Siptah):
M:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved

Feel free to reach out in private to send them if you prefer.

Thanks in advance.

How can I send you a private message? I don’t see this option on your profile

Yesterday I was playing with a friend and he was the host of the game. Everything works fine. The only problem is me.

You can do so by clicking on the name in one of the responses, then selecting “Message” as shown in the screenshot

I can’t put my log in a post since it has too many characters. I don’t see the Message option either when I click on the name. I wanted to post a screenshot but new users can’t upload images. So I think this is also why I can’t send private messages.

That’s getting better and better. Sorry for the sarcasm and thanks for trying to help.

So i have same issue. Can’t play any save game in co-op, but in singleplayer they are working. And i can’t upload anything since i’m “new user”.

When I was playing together with my friend, I used the administrator transfer function. My friend was sent to the void, and then a fatal bug appeared on him. He could not open the cooperative mode again, and the game could not be repaired after being deleted and re-downloaded

Hello I am facing the same problem. I create the game in cooperative mode and everything is fine for exactly 1 day, the next day when you enter the game it freezes, the sound goes on, it does not respond in the task manager. In single player mode, everything works, the online game also works. I tried to recreate the world and run it in co-op mode, it worked, and it worked again for 1 day. Today it freezes again when loading co-op mode.

Ok, if i can’t upload logs and save directly, then i’ll make it in hard way, and upload everything on mega, here is hotlink: mega.nz/folder/KdcGSZxS#3BhwR8AOTjtAgMKWaMzARQ
I’m hoping devs can fix this, we were playing almost 2 weeks, and now everything is gone.

Thank you very much for trying to help the developers figure out our common problem, since everyone here seems to be all new users and are unable to upload our logs.

Those of you having this issue, coudl you let us know which version of Windows are you using?

Thanks in advance.

Of course, I personally use Windows 7

@Ishtvan Are you the host in the coop mode? If not, could you let us know the OS of the hosting player as well?
